Inner Ballerina

It wasn't until I got to work today that I realised how ballerina-ish this looks! I was in a hurry so I quickly threw my hair up in a bun and must have channelled my inner ballerina....

Denim heaven

Up until recently I thought that demin on demin had fashion disaster written all over it but this season it appears to be very "on trend" for want of a better term.

I'm especially loving the contrast between light chambray demin and it's dark denim counterparts.

Here I've chosen to go with my printed stonewash denim mini from NZ label Ricochet and a light denim jacket I brought secondhand for only a dollar!

New beginnings

So this is my first ever blog post....

I am a virgin in the blogosphere and I'm finding it somewhat challenging so far, technology has never been my strong suit; so please bear with me as I stumble my way through this!

I have been following many blogs, specifically fashion blogs, for quite some time now and I realised that whilst it's OK to silently absorb inspiration from others there comes a time when one should at least attempt to give something back rather than just receive.

I'm not claiming to be a fashion expert or style guru of any kind; I just want to share my thoughts and findings with like minded people.

I would appreciate any comments / help / recommendations that anyone would be willing to give me!
