Hook It Up

This is one of my favourite dresses, I love the hook and eye detail and the asymmetric sleeve.

I realise that most of you are experiencing winter but here we've had the most amazing weather for the past 3 days, summer must have arrived; fingers crossed the warmer weather will continue. Nothing beats sitting in the sun with a nice glass of wine, even if I do have to cover myself head to toe in a thick layer of sunscreen.

Gone Dotty

As you can see I'm still having issues with the whole outdoor photo thing. The shade is too dark but the light is way too bright even in the evening. Sigh. I don't really care that much, you're just going to have to tolerate my inconsistency for a while.

I've been playing around with multiple rings, I think it's really dependant on the rings - plus it gives me a good excuse to add more to my collection.

Ring a Ding Ding

Who doesn't love a statement ring? The bigger the better in my eyes. I've never really attempted to wear multiple rings at once before, it's on my list of things to start experimenting with.

To Treasure Forever

I was given this book recently for my birthday, it's an amazing book that I'm sure I will spend hours browsing over for years to come. Whilst I'd like to show you every page that would be an enormous post so instead I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you, WORLD, Karen Walker and Kate Sylvester. I'm huge fan of New Zealand fashion, we have some exceptionally talented designers based here. I don't know if it's on sale world wide but if you get a chance to have a look at a copy I'd definitely recommend it.

This dress is my "go to" option for just about everything; nothing beats a little black dress in my opinion. Do you have wardrobe staples that you stick to?

You may have noticed that I have been wearing my hair up a lot lately, that's because I had it cut a little while ago and I'm not loving the mid-length, can't wait for it to grow back!!
